Picture this You’re out and about, minding your business when you spot Taylor Swift. The sudden glimpse of the A-list celeb leaves you starstruck (obviously).
Though, once that initial feeling fades, you notice something different. She’s striding in her usual style: bangs, cat eyeliner, and bright red lips. Except this time, the latter is no longer true.
Instead of her signature “red lip classic thing” that we know all too well, she has clearly opted for something different. (We forgot to mention that you’re a longtime Swiftie in this scenario, so this revelation is all the more shocking.)
Alas, this isn’t totally a work of fiction; Swift was seen wearing a lighter, more subtle shade of terracotta on the MTV VMA Awards red carpet.
(If you’re feeling wild, you could even call it a faded burnt sienna.) Then, two outfit changes and an afterparty later, Swift was seen sporting the color once more in the streets of New York City. Yes, this is indeed groundbreaking news to some. (More on that later.)
The exact lipstick brand Swift is wearing is not confirmed (though, some users on TikTok swear that it is PAT McGRATH LABS). Still, the sudden switch is enough to inspire fans to begin wearing the same color as her—especially in time for fall! In fact, this shade screams autumn, if you think about it.
