While Taylor Swift was shown several times on NBC’s broadcast cheering on her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Brittany, despite also being in attendance, did not appear on camera.
Swift and Brittany, often seen together at games last season, were seated in different suites during the opener. Swift watched from Kelce’s family suite with his parents, Ed and Donna. Whitlock took to social media to call out NBC for excluding Brittany from the coverage.
“Has NBC shown or talked about Brittany Mahomes? Or is it now illegal to acknowledge her?” Whitlock said.
The omission comes after Trump publicly thanked Brittany for her support, adding to the controversy
“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,” Trump wrote Wednesday in a post on Truth Social.
