Taylor Swift appears to have silenced the haters who are speculating about her relationship status in the best way possible – by launching new merch hinting her romance with Travis Kelce is doing just fine.
The pop star, 34, dropped her Greatest In the League collection on Thursday, which was reportedly inspired by a line from her song The Alchemy, a song rumored to be about her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend.
The pop star, 34, dropped her Greatest In the League collection on Thursday, which was reportedly inspired by a line from her song The Alchemy, a song rumored to be about her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend.
The song contains the lyrics: ‘They said there was no chance trying to be the greatest in the league; where’s the trophy? He just comes over to me,’ which many interpret to be about Kelce.
Fans where quick to point out she dropped the merch on National Boyfriend’s Day, which is October 3, despite an alleged ‘contract’ spreading around the web recently that claimed Swift and Kelce were going to announce a split on September 28.
The merch includes sweatshirts and sweatpants featuring her Tortured Poets Department logo in the same color tones of the album: black, white, beige and gray.
Excited fans took to X, previously known as Twitter, to discuss the latest release – and what it could mean.
‘Literally only Taylor would release a “greatest in the league” collection on National BF day when her BF’s team is 4-0 currently,’ one pointed out.
‘Taylor Swift chose to release “The Greatest in the League” merch collection today, on National Boyfriend Day,’ another said.
‘What a great way to confirm that they’re still going strong who are we to fight the Alchemy!’ someone else gushed.
‘People thinking stuff like this is “just a coincidence”?? like do they not know Taylor? She is aware of everything, there are no coincidences of this size with her,’ one fan exclaimed.
September marked a year since the pair confirmed their highly-publicized romance with the world – when the Cruel Summer songstress attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game.
